  • Aloe juice has proved to be the best home treatment for the canker sores. The taste of this juice is not very delectable but it is not a concern as you are not going to take in this juice.  You just have to put some of the paste of aloe juice on your lips and in your mouth. Repeat this procedure every day twice a day and you will feel a difference in a couple of days. Aloe juice will heal the sore and reduce the swelling and pain will be diminished in some days.
  • Baking soda is another thing you can use to get rid of the canker sores. Put up some quantity of baking soda on the affected areas and leave the rest of your problem on the baking soda as it will do the work for you. The healing of baking soda is quit fast and the pain will vanish in just a couple of days.
  • Salt water or saline solution is another alternative that can be used to treat the oral infections especially the infections of mouth and lips. All you need to do is mix the salt in the hot water and gargle that solution in your mouth. Gargle for 30 seconds and then spit out the water in the sink. After some days you will observe significant improvement of your oral allergy/canker sores. Keep repeating this procedure every day.  One of the best things about this procedure is that it is relatively easy to use as compared to the procedures we have discussed. As salt is cheap and can be bought easily so this method can be preferred over other methods.
  • If the aforementioned methods fail then you always have the option of using a mouth wash. General public use mouth wash as it is anti septic and kills the bacteria that are responsible for most of the oral infections. There is a negative effect surrounding in the public about the mouth washes and that is you will be getting rid of the useful bacteria from your mouth too but it is just a hear say and not a proved scientific theory. Make sure you use a good mouth wash or your canker sores.
